Yummy!
I think this book is fab! i now own both of the first 2 books in the dream hair series and totally love them. this is a book with credibility, like kevyn's makeup books. the dream hair books have tips galore and cute side line storys for the 4 girls in the book. amazing pictures and advice even down to vitamin supplments to help better care for your hair (well, maybe that's in the city hair book... so buy them both!) i'm obsessed with beauty books but will only buy the good ones, these are definitely worth it

The Blessing of a Baby: A Baby Record Book
Published in Hardcover by Harvest House Publishers, Inc. (June, 2002)
Author: Susan Wheeler
Average review score:

The best baby book I've found!
I looked at so many baby books before my twins were born, and this was hands-down the most darling and complete book out there! The book follows your child's first five years, but focuses most attention on the first--footprints, first words, places for photos of all kinds, a sweet little layout for recording their growth, and adorable illustrations. I was so impressed with the quality, content, and layout of this book--enough to be thoroughly disappointed with the Anne Geddes I purchased after reading rave reviews. I also liked the padded cover and little protective cover-box it comes in. You will love this sweet little book!

Great photo/reference book
Part of the acclaimed Time/Life World War Two series and one of the more hard to find titles in the series, this book provides an amazing detailed history of the later stages of the Pacific War. Some of the finest photos of any WWII series, this book truly should be part of any comprehensive personal WWII reference library.

Chase Wheeler's Woman (Harlequin Historical, No. 610)
Published in Mass Market Paperback by Harlequin (May, 2002)
Author: Charlene Sands

INCREDIBLE -- BUT KINDA NEAT!
Lily's uncle Jasper Brody and his wife Joellen have taken off on a trip to see the Eastern coast.

Joellen is the mother of Letty Sue, a spoiled, very imature twenty year old? Letty Sue Withers wants to prove to her mother that she can handle running their ranch. But it seems like Letty Sue can twist any man, any age, around her little finger, without even trying.

Joellen has kept in touch with a young half-breed man, who saved their lives at one time, and has asked Chase Wheeler to supervise the running of the ranch and Letty Sue.

Letty Sue is furious and disgruntled, she would not let any man tell her what to do. Would you believe that she can't cook? And now she was running out of clean cloths. How hard was it to do the wash? It takes her sneaky disappearance [to learn how to cook] to start the jealosy bubbling in Chase. What a man!

It takes her unselfish version of saving Chase from the Law and their finding of a small orphan to really start her growing up.
Even though Chase refuses to consumate their marriage, Letty Sue decides she wants his love and trust, which he refuses to give, before making the marriage real.

Chase Wheeler had been burned once by a spoiled beauty - never again would he trust any woman. Then Marabella got the upper hand with Chase and Letty Sue had to save his life. Yikes!

Definitely recommended - a great follow up to the story of Lily and Tyler Kincaide [you will meet them again on pg. 106].

Children's Fiddling Method

best ever, tops
best that I've run across in my years of fiddling, it is not actually for the beginner beginner, but for someone who is taking violin lessons, lets say from school, it is a a welcome accompaniment to the lesson environment, it expands the art of violin into fiddling.

Joe Wheeler comes through again!
So glad to know that Joe Wheeler has produced yet another of his heartwarming collections of stories. This series has helped to simplify my Christmas shopping. And each year, the recipients look forward to adding a volume to their collection.

Hopefully, this series will continue for years to come. It's nice to be able to count on the quality of Joe Wheeler's work. I don't ever have to worry about being embarrassed by anything in his books...for any age group.
